So I'm kind of missing my C5 this week...my primary residence is in Ohio but I also have a second home in Western North Carolina. Unfortunately the house is at about 4500 foot elevation up a dirt road on a mountain that I know my C5 would scrape bottom all the way up.
Besides all the paved, curvy and cool mountain roads heading up to my house I'm about an hour form the Tail of the Dragon and 3 miles from the road up to Hot Springs which the bikers liken to the Tail of the Dragon.
Would love to have the C5 here with me but it would get trashed just getting to the house, have to live with the S500 on the fun roads.

My lakefront summer home in Vermont is about a mile off the pavement end so my vert gets stored in Florida for a few months when I'm up there to avoid hurricane season.
I find it difficult to feel bad for you when you have a second home and an S500. Not sure what other reaction/response you were expecting with this.
Thanks for the response, really appreciate it. Not asking anyone to feel bad for me, just saying it sucks to be so close to some great driving roads and my car is 450 miles away what does anything else have to do with it.
3/4 mile with a box grader on a tractor would take maybe 2 days of labor. The trailer idea sounds good too but it sounds like the path needs leveled our anyway. You could build a garage at the foot. There is probably plenty of labor and people with this kind of skill in the area (out in the woods).
I know how you feel. My cabin on Cape Breton Island Nova Scotia is not accessible with a vette because of dirt roads and rough terrain and I have a great highway that circles the island. It would be awesome in the vette but sadly I leave the vette in Florida.

First world problems I suppose. Just felt a bit self serving imo.
