Fellow members and vette owners: My boyfriend, Paul (Pounder), is off the forum temporarily but would like to update you all on David Shiel's health. He had two strokes this week and is failing fast. His wife called Paul this morning to tell him that doctors don't expect him to last through the day. He was diagnosed with incurable intestinal cancer early last year. David, Vickie, and his family are in our thoughts and prayers.

David has been incredibly brave during this ordeal and has certainly gained my respect and admiration for the strength he has displayed. Not once has he even hinted at seeking sympathy or pity. While the outcome is certain, I wish him continued strength to the end. We are losing a REAL MAN.
