I'm about to pull the trigger on a set of XS Power LT's with Catless X-Pipe. These headers do not have the AIR provision, and I have been reading that the intake manifold would need to be popped off, pulled forward in order to remove all of the AIR piping/hoses.
I wont have time for this, or the patience, or whatever you want to call it... Is there a good solution for just plugging this system and tuning it out. I want it to look tidy and not like I just disconnected it and left it.
All came out OK other than the rear pass thru tube. This one I simply cut in as far as I could reach with some cutters. One day I will remove it, but like you I also did not want to go thru the hassle of removing my intake manifold. In the meantime, 3+ years later, it's back there... I'll post a pic, will take one at lunch.
Edit; took pics but can't see the tube. No point posting. Sorry.

I did the same as posted above when I initially installed my headers, I cut the pipe that runs behind the manifold as short as I could and it wasn't really noticeable... the first time I removed the intake I then took it off, for some odd reason gm felt the need to torque the living hell out of that bolt

I didn't have a big problem getting the bolt out, which made it possible to completely loosen the tube. Slid it as far left as I could, snip, push back centered but loose. Seems like it should come out, shortened and all, but no go.

I was able to get a wrench on that bolt with the intake on but it wouldn't budge, there just wasn't enough leverage... with the intake off I was able to get a 3/8 ratchet on it but it was still pretty dang tight, especially for a bolt that is only holding a bracket to the head
