Magnaflow 16732 Cat Back
Hello all,
Just installed, sounds good, but not great. Do not want extreme sounds, just good old fashioned v-8 rumble without drone. Really don't want to add headers. Curious on thoughts of Borlan 60087 x-pipe?
Will it add more sound? More hp?

Are you talking about the Borla x-pipe? If so, they make a good product. It will not add any significant HP, but it will smooth out the exhaust flow and usually deepens the exhaust note. I doubt it will make it much louder either.

Hum maybe do a youtube search and see if there are any sound clips you like. Then copy.
I went the cheapo route and did they muffler bypass on my stock exhaust. Sounds way better than stock.
Also someone said due to the firing order of our engines will never sound like v8s of the past.
