I hate to be a traitor, but Im wanting to upgrade to a C6. Ive gone back and forth about this for a couple months now, but I really feel like I want a manual C6 (Zo6.) For some reason, I feel like I am betraying my C5. It was my dream car when I bought it last summer, but now I feel like I want more out of owning a Vette. Am I psycho for thinking my C5 has a human personality and hates me now? Haha. This is not a thread to try and sell my car on here, just wanted to get your opinions. Asking price too high? Should I change my wording? Opinions? Thanks, gentlemen!
SELL IT! It'll find a "good-enough" new Home! Have no guilt!
I had my C5 Vert for 3 years and just sold it on CL a few months ago after picking up a C6 Vert. Enjoying the paddle shifters, keyless entry and push button start!!!! Would not go back to a C5 again! Sell it. Move on. If you regret it in a few years, just find another C5 Garage Queen and drive it like you stole it!!!

Compared to here in Colorado, that's a very good price for a C5 that nice, with a number of great upgrades. Honestly, out here in Colorado, it would probably be around $16k. Shouldn't have any problem selling it. Looks like a very nice C5 for someone. Good luck with your sale.
To each their own. At least you are looking for a C6 Z06 and not a base. They are a much better car for the money. Some like myself just love the C5 and would have a hard time parting ways.

Im not sure if Im going to pick a new one up now or wait until winter and try and get one cheaper. More than likely I wont be able to wait that long
You will love the C6 Z06. I had one from 2010 to 2016 before buying a new C7 Z. I had zero problems with it in 6 years. They pull ferociously between 4,000 and 7,000 RPM's. Hard to beat that naturally aspirated 427. The C6 Z with the wide body is a great looking car.
Do what you think is good for you, I will like to changed my C5Z down the line and taste another type of vette. I wish I could keep it when I get another one but don't have the space nor I want to spend money on two vettes.
Good luck with the sale and post pics of your new toy when you get it.

To the OP, hope you enjoy whatever car comes next! I would be with you, but mostly just because I don't enjoy automatics at all, even the really fast ones. GLWS! I think the price is more than fair.

It was correct on the C6Z, not on the C7Z. I'm superstitious though. I was able to keep the last Z out of the woods, so I'm sticking with it.
I've owned both and the C5 is a better car and way better looking.
A C5 anything better than a C6Z?
An argument can be made for looks, as that's completely subjective. Stock for stock, there's simply no comparison in terms of performance.
