Default Original Water Blade

Its a wide silicone squeegee for wiping off water after you wash your car. Has anyone ever used one?

I have used one. As long as you keep the blade very clean, it can do a good job without scratching the paint.

I have used one for years. Works great to squeegee off the water after you wash. Have not used it on the corvette since I have been using Chadwicks and don't wash it with water anymore.

I use Waterblades on my DD caliber cars, but not my top quality paint cars.

Fresh Terry Cloths towels and a Leaf Blower, that's all I use to dry my top quality paint cars.

Great product, relatively cheap. I've even seen people use actual squeegees on their Vettes, which I think is a bit insane, since it has metal on it, one slip up....well, you know the rest.

It doesn't get the car dry, I still have to go over it with an absorber.

I have the california water blade, been using it for years -- i like it. I've used someone elses non-california brand, wasn't impressed.

Leaves zero to almost zero water where you can reach -- but not very effective around holes and emblems and stuff.....

As with anything that touches paint, you have to be careful -- clean car only, keep the blade clean. the silicone is very soft.

I have used it before with good results. I don't wash my Corvette with soap and water anymore.

I start with the windows and windshield...I wipe and use my fingers to swipe the blade off after each pass to make sure no dirt gets left on the blade..

I use it to get most of the water off...then I use a eagle one spray and wax which is for when the car is wet...

I got this wash and temporary wax done in 12 minutes flat...

I've done it on both my red c5 s and my black c6 z51..

I've got 110k miles on my purchased new c6 and it looks awesome.

Twice a year I take out my griots orbital polisher and use my Adams three part polish, wax etc protocol.

Car is garaged..I use it all winter too and it still looks brand new.

Good luck deciding...remember the key is swipe and wipe..swipe and wipe..

+1 what sydwayz said. use mine on my DD's-what is nice is that if you use a spray wax after you wash, using the blade leaves just enough water on the panels to work really well in combination with the spray wax. My teenager used it on our 65 mustang vert which was triple black before a car show-doh! left some slight surface marks, but we were able to easily buff it out. So if the vette we buy in the next month is black, will use it on the windows only

Mostly I use Chadwick's, but I LOVE to wash my car the old fashioned way with the foam spray on the hose, buckets and mitt. When I do that, I always use the water blade to get most of the water off before I dry it with the waffle towels. I love it!!!

I used it this morning. It worked on most areas removing the bulk of water. Kept the blade clean and finished up with the air hose. It is another quick detail tool.
