Chadwick's Triple Play... say what you want, pictures say it all
Some hate it, i love it. Never have i had a finish like this. Never have i ever been able to get a finsh like this, until now. For a simple to use, at home product, I'm blown away. For me, its also the satisfaction of doing it myself.
This is the result of 3 different applications and 1 paint correction process. Original paint on my '99 triple black convertible. All pictures are unedited and taken with my Samsung Galaxy S8.

All i can say is WOW! BAT, that is tremendous reflection value for sure!! (used to have a triple black mustang vert show car 2 yrs ago-i feel your pain in the time that probably took, but man oh man-you did an AWESOME job on that!!) You may be changing my mind - buying our first C5 within the month and i made up my mind that i would never have a black car again after the mustang...after seeing your pics, i'm not so sure

Could be because your pics are done with your phone, but at much less money, and work, I would put my 04 up against the shine on your Chadwicks special any day of the week.
Good ole turtle wax, and the finish is almost mirror like.
That's the compliment I hear over and over, "it's like looking into a mirror."
Nothing wrong with using Chadwicks, but all that work, and extra money, one has to ask, is it worth it?
Wouldn't be for me, especially when I can get as good, if not better results with turtle wax.
Bob.

all that work ??? takes me 20 min. to do the whole car(coupe) and including wheels and windows ???? the paint correction for the most part is a one time thing to get all the previous crap off and back to the way it is supposted to look !!!! Drove mine in the rain the other day and after it dried ( by itself) it was spot free !!!!
I spend ten minutes every day keeping my mirror finish looking like one were looking in a mirror.

I don't care what anyone says, I think that looks damn fine.

Looking at the pics, the shine on your black car looks outstanding. Well done.

Well, "you people" have worn me down. I bought the kit yesterday. I actually called and talked to Neil personally before I purchased. Along side my C5, I have two vehicles with special paint jobs, both matte finish. I wanted to know if his products have any kind of carnuba or polish in them, which they do NOT. I have been using products from Dr. Beasley's in Chicago on them and am very happy, but always willing to look at something new. Neil confirmed that his products have been tested and used on these finishes too. I told him I'd report back.

Since then, I've used just the Triple Play, twice. Total time is about 20 minutes now. Spray on, wipe off.
I think I remember you? You're the one that uses plumbers putty as a clay bar, right?

I did the paint correction with the first application, which was the first time doing anything to the car. Total time was 4-5 hours for the entire car, following the 3 step process.

I had problems with the site using my previous username, so decided to go back to the original "calguy" username.
I clay once a year with the putty, and wax twice a year with the turtle wax.
I use Meguiar's ultimate detail once a month, but make sure I hose the car down every other day, and blow dry.
Naturally I am at an advantage living in So Cal.
Don't have all that snow, salt, or mud to contend with.
I think it was "evil twin"(Bill) that said I would destroy the clear coat using plumbers putty, but that just has not happened.
The Vette, as well as my pickup get the same treatment, and the clear coat is perfect on both.
