Found out that some people are trying to get a little gathering started out in Gold Canyon, Arizona. So my wife and I went out to support it and help get it going. Had 14 cars there. This was the 3rd weekend for it so it's pretty new. This fall/winter should be much better. I plan on going out there a few times as it's only 17 minutes from my house. It's in the Methodist Church parking lot so it will hold quite a few cars and whatever else might show up. It was only 103 degrees outside but we had some shade to help with the sun. We also had a couple that seemed really interested in purchasing Grape Ape. They were asking all kinds of questions and asked a few times what my price was. I kind of hesitated a little and looked at them for a second and they seemed like they were really serious so I just told them that I really didn't want to sell it. I also told them that if I did give them a number that they might just say "OK, done deal." so I just said I couldn't do it. If I run into them again who knows what might come of it. But as of right now I have no plans on ever selling it. All my friends and family say to keep it so I think I'll heed their advise.

Nice cars and hopefully the gathering will grow to include a very large number of cars. As for selling the car, just tell them money talks - who knows, they may make an offer you just can't refuse.

Yup and that's what I'm most afraid of I think. We'll see I guess and I'll let them talk the first numbers.

Love gatherings that showcase different makes and models. So much more interesting than just a single marque show. Nice cars at the gathering, I'm sure its going to grow. By the way, loved the highboy and that black three window coupe. Nice job on your video and thanks for sharing, take care!

You can't sell the Grape Ape- then what would you obsess over?

How often is the event out in Gold Canyon? That's a haul for us, but it's got to beat the now 3rd weekend deal with Caddies at the Bourbon Street wraps - - I'm done going there are the Cars and Coffee up at Mayo/Scottsdale the first Saturday is too crowded with too many Ferraris/Lambos and high buck marques.
