The for sale section is currently crammed with zO6's with very healthy asking prices. Are these sellers being realistic in their expectations?
Are they overestimating the demand for these cars or are they right on the money?

Some do seem to be priced high, but time will tell if they are realistic or not. The C5 Z is one of the real bargains in the sports car world so I think the demand is there - at what price is the question.
C5Z prices are the only ones holding steady while C5 prices are tanking. Dealers are pricing them local to me around the 21-22K range for those with under 50K miles and 23-25K range with under 20K and they are selling. They are selling for more than base C6's, it has been interesting watching the C5Z market over the past couple of years.
They made so many of them that there are tons available.. I see them for between 15-20 for sub 120k miles. Some with 50 or 60 k on the clock.. Most people who want top dollar will try to sell on eBay, or on the forum..
The forum sellers vary, but I have seen all the absolute best deals pass through here as opposed to other venues.
C5Z vs base C6 is typically considered a much meaner looking car with the frc style. The wow factor of the badge is a draw, too. Think of all the mid-life crisis types who don't even change their own oil.
I watch a few pages on FB for parts and C5s for sale... Some screaming deals out there. Also some guys who think their car is made of gold..
