Good luck getting the bladders working again. It's nice having a fully functional set of sports seats.

Mine don't work either, and never really considered fixing them. Curious how much of a benefit it is to have them? Also, can you share how much those replacements were?

I did mine a couple of years ago and what I've found is, the lower one is so low, that it's below your hips and just really hits your butt. So the only one I use is the upper one. I wish I would have mounted both a little higher.
Also, in your pic, when you install, stick the overlapping hose behind the bladder or you may feel it.

I first did this about 16 years ago when I used BP cuffs to create my own manual lumbar support in a 96 Talon. Having had three lower back surgeries over the years I find an adjustable lumbar support to be very helpful in all our cars. When I bought my 99 C5 the original bladders were all broken as is often the case. Just removed the seats, and replaced all four bladders in each seat with appropriate sized BP bladders. Did the same in my 03 C5, my wife's Miata, and our T&C minivan. The replacement bladders come in several sizes Some come encased in a fabric cover with velcro on the back. I prefer this style as it protects the bladders from wear. BTW, you can place the bladders where you prefer when you install them.
