I just picked up my dream car on Friday. A pristine 04 C/E convertible. New to the Vette world I didn't realize HOW LOW they really are. Well to make a long story short, as careful as I tried to be, I scraped the front end the skid bars, and the front left rocker panel. It's not that bad and I was able to buff out the scratches to be somewhat tolerable for the **** person that I am, but it just made me sick! What I would like, is some advice on some protection in these areas. I have noticed a product called Fangs for the skid bars, and a company by the name of Elite Engineering has rocker panel protectors that look interesting. Any advice and/or suggestions would greatly be appreciated.
I installed Fangs on mine about two years ago and have never touched one to a curb yet!
I'm so vain about it that I just ordered a curb alert that should be delivered today.
