Soft Ride (FE1)
I have a 2003 Corvette Convertible with "Touring" and "Sport" suspension settings. This model was $91,000 in 2003 and has the famed Ferrari "magnetic" ride package.
Do I have stock the "Soft Ride (FE1)" shock absorbers or not?

There is no way that a 2003 listed for $91,000 new.. Window sticker was more likely in the $58,000 area...............
how did you come up with $91K

91,000 in 03? Ok
Maybe for a Ferrari. Not a Corvette.

If I'm not mistaken, this technology was first on the Corvette and developed in-house, and then other makers (Ferrari etc.) copied it.

From Wikipedia (magnetorheological damping):
"The technology was originally developed by General Motors Delphi Automotive Division based in the USA and then developed further by BeijingWest Industries in China after BeijingWest Industries bought the technology from General Motors. BeijingWest Industries has subsequently introduced improvements including a redesigned ECU and the introduction of a dual coil system."
Pity they sold it to China, IMO.
