First Pics-Thanks everyone!
Well, after a few posts on here (see my "What to do about these stripes" and "Lightly Raced C5" post if interested), here it is! Its been a true learning experience, and without the input of people here, it would probably be in someone else's driveway. We weren't even going to look at it because i didn't like the stripes, and several on here said to go look and i might like them-they were right! I kinda like that its different i guess....So, its an 02. From what i gathered, the first owner kept it on a lift in his garage with his DD parked underneath. He is the one who put on the stripes, rims, Blackwing filter, TPIS headers, and Corsa Indy Exhaust. He owned it for 6 yrs or so, and then sold it. So as it sits, it has 44K on it. Already has the 1st-4th shift delete and the column lock bypass that he got from LS1HowTo, so think i'm good there. Paint is in amazing shape (yeah, after an afternoon today with my Griot's buffer!). Got it for $14,500. So thanks again everyone for your help/opinions/advice. I'm sure i'll have some stupid newb "Help Me!" posts, so please be gentle until i get up to speed. I think my search button is just about worn out after the last few months

What a buy! The previous owner would have got more $$$ if it had the original equipment. Thank god for mods! I think I saw the ad: $25K invested, asking $15k obo. Every day of the week!

So you really think having the original exhaust, intake and wheels would have brought more $$ on this car? Really?

Thanks everyone for the kind words. Good to know i got a good deal and that all my research kind of paid off (not that price is everything, but being a teacher it is a bit important for sure). After i spent the day getting it cleaned up (the way some guys get their cars ready for sale is puzzling to me sometimes especially if its not their DD!) i got the question from the wife "so when do I get to drive it?" Gave her the keys and we went for a spin down by the canal-she was smiles all the way and loved the way the corsa exhaust sounded 
I hinted to her about 5 times that maybe she should use the cruise control-dont think her finger will ever touch that button....oh lord. Hoping the saying arrest me red doesn't hold true for her any time soon!
