Headlight motor replacement
Just replaced the headlight motor right side. When I connected the battery, the light I installed raised without the switch being turned on. The motor was re built from advanced auto. Could it have been shorted in the connector? Any thoughts.....when I cut the switch on the drivers side opened and the passenger side lowered.

I had what seems to be the same thing happen to a trans am I had years ago. I replaced the motor and one would be up and the other down. Tried to manually adjust but that wouldn't work either. I know mine had to do with wires being crossed but can't really recall which ones. And it may be totally different on a c5. Maybe others will chime in with similar exp.
