Friend of mine was discussing obtaining an interim business loan (termed "bridge" loan) from his banker. The banker said he was interested in helping but first needed to hear an answer to this question: A bridge to where?

Same thing with your C5. Assume you are COMPLETELY finished upgrading/modifying it. For what purpose(s) are you driving it?

Answer that question, then decide what is needed to get there and the sequence in which you should make those changes.

Only your opinion is important.

That's the process I followed, Now, four years and $50,000 later, I'm finished. I'm bored (and poorer) but have the C5 I always wanted. Best of all, I've not had to do anything twice.

Got a question about your Ram Air Intake System. I am interested in getting the Vararam Ram Air Intake System ( http://www.westcoastcorvette.com/p-3...04-c5-z06.aspx ) and I was wondering if this is the same system you listed above.

If it is have you noticed any significant difference in performance (HP or fuel economy)? I've seen a video on the installation and it doesn't look difficult. Did you install your own? Did you find it difficult or were there any challenging/troubling parts of the install?

Tks,
Doug

10.4 gearing?

I think you mean 4.10 gears.

A lot of stuff sounds like it was typed out by somebody that misunderstood what someone else was saying?

From what I can comprehend, everything has been done to the car, engine, clutch, rear end.

Just drive it and fix stuff as it breaks.
