Planning on taking a over night drive to see this. Any advice on these editions, or what to look for. Hoping this might be my first corvette....

For the mileage and the price that seems rather inline. I believe $25K Canadian roughly translates to $19.5K USD which is just about right for a 2004 convertible in that condition.

Those rear quarter logos should not be on that car however. Depending on how long they've been there and how the car has been stored there may need to be some paint correction performed there.

I couldn't tell by the pictures and descriptions if the car has magnetic ride (I'm guessing it does). Mag ride can have a lot of headaches for owners if shock and strut replacement is needed and at that mileage it wouldn't be far off. You may want to go ahead and price those parts as you might get some sticker shock.

What is that on the floor next to the floor mat? Doesn't look right. Other than that, car looks great.

Both pictures of the footwells have a funky brown looking staining in the corners - could that be old water damage?

The passenger side looks like water stains along the center, bad side to have any water damage because of the computer being on the firewall floor on that side. Know how to check numbers on the dash and hope that they didn't clear them before you got there. They were also careful not to give a full shot of the drivers seat where common damage exists.

I agree that it looks like a water-damaged car. Definitely look into a vehicle history report (like Carfax) on this one.

Thanks for the advice, I saw the stains but just assumed it was due to stains from wear etc, especially from 13yr old carpet. But not once did I think of it being from water, that does kinda scare me, plus I'm trying to figure why he never had carpet replaced, like I was thinking on having done, had I bought.
Am now having 2nd thoughts as this could be like opening a can of worms. This was already at the top of my budget, thus scares me to think what may look like underneath it....

I think that's a good idea - I waited over a year to find the car I wanted.

Good luck with your search and don't settle on something that doesn't look right.

South Florida is a flood zone and usually salt water. If that is the case it will have an odor like the beach (not in a good way) and whatever they used to mask the smell. I've seen a few!

Start doing history reports on these. Pay for a CarFax history report that allows multiple searches to weed out salvage rebuilt vehicles.

That is the factory plastic under the floor mat to the left...mine still has it too.

The other marks looks like a vacuum or steam cleaner marks left behind by dragging/pulling the hose end.
Must have been just detailed before photos were taken.

But the brown stains on passenger side? and by the seat mount drivers side?yikes!
