Windshield
When they put a new windshield in my C5 are they supposed to change the molding all around ? Insurance gave me a estimate of 1,195 the company that was doing the job said that the molding was extra. Doesn't sound rite to me, or is it ?

This has been discussed on here before. You'll find some will say it's perfectly fine to use the old molding while others will insist you need new molding.
New molding is big $, one is for sale right now on eBay for $620

My windshield got cracked while I was driving it home frm the dealer the day I bought it, had it replaced immediately and State Farm paid for the molding, the guy who replaced it said it was about a $1700 job....not sure if it was required but I was happy the covered it.
