Exhaust drone suddenly
Hi Guys
I went to my local performance shop a year ago and the guy told me while I was there that my exhaust sounded muffled. He said he thought my cats were blocked. They took off the mid pipes and dumped out a bunch of cat converter material that had disintegrated. Then put them back on. Now it seems like a get some drone on decel between 3-4K rpms.
I'm thinking perhaps of having the cats cut off and putting straight pipes in place of them.
Also thinking of adding some corsa extreme cat back for fun.
Any thoughts if this hollowed cat deletion would help, or make more drone...
anyone experienced the cats heat up and fall apart inside? They said they see that with track cars
