Checking fuses in my 04 under the pasenger side kick panel ,, I didn't notice witch way the cover was when I took it off .. there is a opening at one end .. If I put the opening at the bottom the screw won't catch to tighten the cover.. If I put the opening at the top the screw will catch but it just seems upside down.. Looks like with the closed end down if there was ever much of a leak it would fill up with water and short everything out.. Plus the writning stamped on the cover is upside down with the open end up.. Anyone know the correct way for it ?? Thanks
Unfortunately that is the way that the cover does go on (ie seemingly upside down) and I totally agree that it would seem like a funnel to get water into the fuse box.
Seems like an engineering F'up to me................ Or perhaps the idea was to let heat out since heat rises????
One of many. Just read the problems in the forum. But still love the car even with its warts.
