Default Vette's on the River

Is anyone going to the Vette's on the River event 8/26 in Le Claire IA. So far they have 360 Vette's coming, says the event will be judged by veterans. I will be going, but not entering my car as I have family obligations that morning. I have attached a link for those interested.

Yep, I'll be there. Went the last two years and got rained on the way there both times. Hence, I only took my 98 and left the 02 home. This year, taking the 02 rain or shine.
The whole voting thing at this event is a joke. They drive around in a golf cart and pick out a car. They never get off to actually look at the cars. Also, the Vettes are not parked by class which makes it impossible to make a true comparison.
I don't attend to get a trophy, I go to see LOTS of Vettes and meet some interesting people. La Claire is a good town too, it's where the show American Pickers is based out of.
Pictures from last year

Looks like great show, love all the cars, and the background looking at the town, love it.
Wish I lived closer.

Houston has another vette-s-on-the-river event but that's one you don't want to attend.
