Dura flex Hoods
I have a 02 c5 corvette and thinking about purchasing the Duraflex Stingray Z Hood. I was wondering have any one use their hoods and is it any special Mods. have to be done

plan on spending what the hood costs in body and paint work and even then it still may not fit perfect

I own an LS swapped nissan 240sx as well. duraflex & their parent company extreme dimensions are known in the nissan world as some of the worst fiberglass parts you can get.
I've seen fenders that were shrunk and wouldnt even meet the mounting locations, hoods that were an inch too narrow, I even got a set of sideskirts from them for my car where the driver side was an inch too long and the pasenger was 3 inches too short.
But i don't know about the quality of their corvette parts

I doubt it's any different than your experience... I made the mistake of buying one of their carbon c5 hoods and the build quality and fitment was dog sh*t, I sent it back and will never bother with any of that junk again
