Default Install splash guards help

I just purchased a full set of C5 splash guards from MidAmerica (stock #638171). It came with 6 retaining clips. There no holes in the front ones but 2 per for the back ones. there were no instructions provided. Has anybody installed some of these and if so how about some guidance? Thanks for the help.

Nope. Talked to a body shop guy who said he could do it. Went to his shop yesterday and he wasn't open. I'll probably try again next week as I am busy for the next couple days. Thanks for asking though.

Default splash guards

I went to the body shop yesterday. The guy took a look at the splash guards and deduced that the pair with the holes went on the front (screws were already in place in wheel well lip holding on liner) and the smaller pair were for the rear. After climbing out of the tunnel that had been my vision which had convinced me that the larger ones went in back, it made perfect sense. I went home (somewhat chagrined) and mounted them. It took about 10 minutes and the tires didn't even have to come off. So if anyone orders Mid-America C5 splash guards #638-171), the big ones go in front.

Looks good. All you want is for the splash guards to do it's job. Bigger is not always better.
Later.

I know this is an older thread by the OP but I just want folks to be careful when installing front mud guards. If they mount much lower than the bottom of the wheel well you could have problems clearing speed bumps or any other uneven surface. The fact that they mount with screws means they can do quite a bit of damage if they catch on anything. I speak from experience.

I don't have any pictures and the car is hibernating. I will get some measurements on how far they stick out from the body and how low they are. Front are about 1/2" from body on the side and 2" below bottom of car. The back ones can be put just about anywhere you want due to being held on by clips.Maybe I can get some pictures tomorrow but I can't seem to get them transferred from phone to website.

The Stealth flaps I have hit all the time without a problem. They are flexible and just bend. Solid guards definitely could cause damage.
