How **** are you with your C5?
I was curious to hear to what extreme or maybe the most extreme story on how **** you are in taking care of your C5.
I cannot stand a spec of dirt on my car, nor on the floor in the interior or anywhere for that matter. I will never drive it in the rain, or if the streets are wet or if there is an imminent threat of such. My garage, its crib, has to be spotless, too. I freak out if I see someone walk up to it and God forbid touch it. I also hate to admit this, but sometimes go out in the garage, grab a cold one and just look at it. It is better than therapy.

I used to clean my wheels every day before I left for work. I hated brake dust.

Safety Car
I park any car I have at the far end of any parking lot where there aren't usually any other parked cars.
Also, this is not **** but may be a minor psychosis. I have always thought that my car rides and handles better right after I have cleaned and vacuumed it.

**** to a point....I'm realistic in my view of a mechanical device that is driven occasionally. I take great care in how I clean it, what I'm wearing around it or in it, the route I'm taking while driving it, and the area it's parked in while it's away from the safety of the garage.
On the other hand, I know it's been rained on in the past, it obviously doesn't melt, and that goes for the slight bit of snow it encountered many years ago, and after 17 years of it's production, no ill-effects from the frozen water bit. Unless I just decide to not drive the car anymore, and mothball it,( what fun would that be), I'm not going to worry needlessly over something that runs on oil, water, and fuel. I do the "best I can" to maintain it's luster and overall beauty, and I know it's just minutes or an hour or two away from putting it up for viewing at a car show, in what "I" deem as good enough. My car is beautiful IMO, and have the trophies to prove it but, if I ever get to the point where my car needs to be flawless at all times and that ****, it'll be sitting in a museum type atmosphere but, that isn't a guarantee either....Just look what happened in Bowling Green....
Drive it, enjoy it, and if being overly **** is what makes you feel better about it, then hey, more power to you. It's your car.

Not **** at all. I keep it looking nice, but I bought my car to drive. It does bother me when something doesn't work. I have to fix it as soon as possible.

Both **** and non-**** (God that sounds bad )
I treat my 02 like she is a hot model, I treated my 98 like she was a hot rod (well, I guess it was).
My 02:
My old 98 (sold her in May )

OK, you have pretty much described how I feel about my car. No driving in rain, clean after every drive, car cover for dust control, etc.
It's a sickness I tell you.

Wondering why you sold the red one? Not that it's any of my business but it looks better than the blue one. Just my opinion though.
