You see, this is the Corvette forum, its a discussion group, with members who have different opinions. When most rational people discus things as we are doing here, we use life lessons to support our position, be it Vietnam, the News, or any other personal insight we want to share in that discussion, as long as it is civil.. Its what we do here.. Some people have been on this forum for 3 years spouting their opinion on a car they still do not own.. After three years.
There are all types of people here. Adding content is one thing, calling people Pontificators or preachers is counter productive to what we do here.. if you do not like the opinions of some of us, ignore them, dont call them names because it may not agree with your view.. There is something called respect.

Why call out a fellow member? Who cares if he doesn't own a vette? For a guy that preaches respect- you fall short quite often.

I did not mention any names.. I didn't bring shade on any specific person, if someone feels that description fits them, that's on them not me.

You did call me specifically a pontificator and a preacher. Most of us in this thread were giving generalizations and specific facts of their life lessons and experiences. Just innocent points of view with no sinister agenda.
Ive made my point here, and my feelings, maybe more times then I should have, but when a subject that hits home so painfully is supported, I can get emotionally involved.
