Latest trip!!
This past weekend we had three C5s- 2 coupes and a Vert; all 3 travelled from No. Ohio to Kentucky and the Museum. Stopped overnight in Louisville, then (Sunday) to BG, the Museum, Bardstown, and Four Roses distillery. Stopped second night in Lexington. Returning home (get away from the Eclipsers!) on Monday. Great trip- about 1200 miles.
About half was on backroads, some almost single lane through horse farm country- beautiful!! One of us has just owned his C5 for less than a year. His car was babied by the original owner, had never been in the rain, 600 miles around home since he got it last fall. A regular garage queen. It got used THIS weekend!! He is a convert.
27.3 MPG and not driven easy, I can tell you. Not a single issue with any of the three cars.
Ya gotta drive them!!!

Sounds like a nice trip. I'm driving my C5 to Carlisle from Mass. tomorrow. 1,000 mile round trip. These are great cars for road trips.
