Default Advise on diff output seal R+R

I need to replace the drive side seal on the diff output shaft. How much oil will be lost when the seal is removed. Just changed the diff oil less than 3k ago with amsoil and still have about 1/2 a quart. Will I lose more than that?
What's the easiest way to get the half shaft to pop out of the diff?

I just did mine last night and it was very easy. I didn't loose any oil from the diff when removing the 1/2 shaft. In my case, the axle popped out of the diff quite easily. Just make sure you are pulling straight out.

The trickiest part for me was manipulating the seal removal tool to get the seal itself out. the tool was basically too large and was getting hung up on the subframe. I ended up bending a cheap harbour freight style tool (basically in half), so I could manipulate the tool once it was "seated" onto the seal.

To install the new seal, I just tapped it in with a block of wood. Make sure you have a deep 34mm socket to loosen the axle nut. I would also recommend removing the parking brake bracket (2x 15mm bolts) entirely so you can move that cable and attached sensor out of the way.

Thank you luffy, I'm replacing the Half shafts and seals tomorrow. How high off the ground did you have your car?

Replaced the seals yesterday. Lost no oil with the diff oil at normal level.
