First experience wit a C6....not impressed

So through research and the scare tactics employed by several well meaning members of this forum I have decided to definitely avoid 2005s...and more than likely concentrate on 2008 and above.
I have an appt. to see a 2008 convertible automatic car. 40k miles for not too terribly much more than the 2005 convertible I had been looking at previously. Carfax and autocheck...for whatever they are worth...both look good. Local car serviced by the dealer for the last 6 years. I have a birthday coming up so fingers crossed I land this one in the next few days.
