Just another mod, money thrown away but the owner likes it so it's OK. Reminds me of my 1969 MAKO conversion. Likely the C5 was totaled before he started. Sure wouldn't want to do that to a proper car.

I am definitely a supporter of most types of modifications to later model Corvettes if they make the person happy, but I wouldn't be caught dead driving that thing.

Is it wrong that is what I was most upset about? All that work into the body & paint and etc. and I'm like why is the wheel choice and spacing so utterly abysmal?

Those CaliforniaSuperCoupes hatch side louvers are throwing me off also. They look like they're floating about the glass in the rear shot but I could have sworn those are secured directly to the glass.
