Temperature reading off?

Temperature reading off?
I just purchased a 99 6-speed. I noticed the outside temperature reading on the AC/heat controls is off. It reads about 25 degrees lower than the actual temperature outside the car. I'm thinking the temperature sensor is the culprit but I'm not sure. Could it be anything else?

Yes, I would say the temp sensor is bad. Replace it and I would bet your temp reading will be back to normal.
