Default Mossy Oak Corvette at Carlisle

These 2 cars probably got the most attention this year at Carlisle.
Story has it they both sat in some guys yard, under trees for 45 years before being purchased. The 57 and 54 were sold as a pair and if memory serves me correctly both cars were resold for $10k

I heard that the trailer was the exact trailer it sat on as well. They needed to do some maintenance to get it roll/move but that was the same trailer all that time...

Amazing story...would love to see that car finished...absolutely priceless.

I think you may be confusing this one with the "barn find" that Mike Yeager from Mid-America has. From the looks of the mud lines on the tires, that car was on the ground.

They have their work cut out for them with those two cars.

So, wonder if NuFinish will bring back this car's color and shine??!!
Seriously, though, I just don't understand wanting to put this car, unprotected, in a truck box for nearly half a century.

Hard to imagine that someone would simply ignore these wonderful Corvettes and let them languish and deteriorate all those years. You'd also think that word would get around and someone would have saved them before they got to such a decrepit state!
