When trying to replace the battery in My 01, the batteries recommended don't have the proper reserve of 120. I want a AGM battery with 120 reserve. Not opinions on why I don't need 120 as that is the right battery, However who sells the proper batteries?
JR, I saw that, but I couldn't find where it stated anything but this, "770 CCA; 120 MIN RC at 25A" $189.99 at Amazon with free shipping right now.
Gary, is that the number you're looking for?
I've used Exide Orbital's in the past, and would use the Edge in the future, but the last battery I put in my 2000 was an Interstate MT7 AGM. Exide was reorganizing at the time and no one could get an AGM from them. I did put a Odyssey in our C6 Z06. They were the only ones I could find that had an AGM that would fit in the Z06, with the terminals in the correct place. The cables in the Z06 are so short, the terminals had to be exact. After the second Delco died prematurely, I wasn't about to put another one of them in it. The dealer replaced the first under warranty within 3 years.

This is what I use, AGM with 135 RC and 850 CCA...
Good idea with the battery wrench right there and the labels. Gonna have to borrow the idea, but being a cheap bastard with multiple vehicles, it will be HF rather than craftsman.
What soort of terminals are those? Have not seen them. Is the violtage meter always on or only running or switched?
I purchased the correct battery from .....get this...a GM dealership Cost $94- and it has been going strong for 3 years now. Gorgeous battery with snap down handle small in size. Could have it sit on your coffee table and would garner compliments,

The top terminals and additional heavy cables are Stinger (
) - several vendors sell them. The positive terminal meter you are referring to lights up whenever it senses a change in draw and stays on for a minute or so.
