Default Front hvac control cover

So a few days ago, I was replacing my stock radio with an aftermarket one and accidentally split the front covering for the hvac controls. Anyone know how to get a replacement without having to buy an entire other one?

You'll have to buy an entire used unit.

You actually have the "base" climate control. Most C5s prior to the introduction of the FRC/Z06 came with the "dual climate" option as it was heavily touted when the C5 was new (was a big deal for separate driver/passenger settings in a car like this). You shouldn't have a huge issue finding one through a re-seller but do know the dual climate units are typically more plentiful.

Good luck!

I scratched mine taking the console out and had a tough time finding one that wasn't marked up and actually worked. I bought a few of them.

The front of that control is a decal, btw. It will actually peel off and I could not find a replacement decal. You will have to find a whole new controller. They are out there if you look hard enough. Just make sure the one you buy is MINT. If you find more than one, buy them both. They are getting harder to find.

Also, I can't be certain but you might want to make sure the part number of the replacement is the same as the one in your car. I am not 100% sure but I think one of the ones I bought was a different part # from the one in my car and it didn't work but don't quote me on that. I replaced mine last year and memory is foggy on it now.
