I had them powder coated candy purple. If you look at the car a little more closely, you'll see it's actually not spiral grey. It's the Medium Pearl Purple Metallic color. It looks different depending on the sun angle. My painter thought it was the spiral grey when he first saw it also.

I still like my CCW SP 16a wheels. Lot of work to keep them looking new is the only downside. 19" front and back.

Regardless, it looks spectacular, and probably the nicest Pearl Purple Ive ever seen!!

BBS LM.
A timeless classic that I expect to look as good in 20 years as they do today. I don't know of a modern car that they don't look good on, much like the Cragar SS on any pre-1979 vehicle.

Hey, I really like the wheels on the grey C5 earlier in the thread. They look really sharp. Wait, they look like mine.

I take them off the car a couple of times a year to clean the barrels and keep them polished with Rejex. Made this jig up to help with the cleaning process, it works very well and saves you have manhandling the wheel and tire.
Thanks for your comment.

I'm not a huge fan of modern wheels... I'm a real sucker for 80s and 90s automotive styling. So, basically anything that would be considered totally uncool by todays standards haha.
I don't like chrome and black is overdone. I'm going bright bronze/almost gold when I get around to rims. Similar color to the gold accents that were on the old Trans Ams... and you guys will never guess what wheels I'm going to get and have powder coated in that color.
Anyone tryin to sell me some pristine wagon wheels?

02 I made the mistake of putting the wheels and tires away one year without them being cleaned after a late fall run, some snow involved in that one. So any real effort to clean them was entirely on my shoulders. Mark who had a silver Z06 and a great supporter on this forum has a in depth way of cleaning the CCW wheels and it worked well. I thank Mark for sharing his knowledge.
