C5 Exhaust

What exhaust sounds like a small block chevy should sound on a C5 Corvette? Thanks...

You're going to get lots is subjective answers on that question, from stock to the loudest exhaust. I'm running Corsa Pacecars and love 'em.

if you are seeking the sound of a classic muscle car era small block chevy you will never get it. The LS1 design is not the same and will never sound like that.

Your best bet is to attend some car shows and seek out C5s that have aftermarket exhausts on them. Then ask the car's owner if you can listen to it run.

Not sure. I have LG headers, Catless- Mid pipe with X pipe into the stock exhaust and it sounds like an exotic for the most part.

Also, as a general rule, keep in mind that the exhaust systems often won't reach true db level level and tone quality until about 6,000 to 12,000 miles and/or maybe 6 to 12 months. Sometimes the difference is significant.
