Burned front socket, pics! Better fix it NOW!
My new (I bought it off my 'X") 2004, Z51, A4, Roadster has only 20,000 miles. If anyone is sitting on the fence, time to install hyperflash harness and LED lights.

The DRL light gets very hot and it is a known problem that over time it will melt the light housing at the top. I've had to replace mine because of the melting. Not hard to do, just time consuming and a bit expensive. As mentioned, switching over to LEDs will solve the problem.
