Has anybody installed these steel mesh screens on their C5?
If so, are they a hassle. They looked pretty simple but then they arrived, I'm looking at them and wondering if they're more trouble than worth, or they will end up scratching the car and/or even stay on while driving?
Any thoughts? Suggestions or tips to install?

Install them with small strips of Velcro placed around the top/bottom of each screen and you're good to go. I have the screens on my car and the Velcro keeps them securely in place yet allows me to remove the screens for cleaning the area behind them.
That's what most people do; use velcro attached to the fascia opening. The ability to remove and clean also makes velcro ideal. Obviously that means it's going to be permanent with velcro on painted body work so you need to decide if that's what you really want to do.
You could also use something like 3M body tape, but the issue with that will be you won't be able to remove them for cleaning as you would have to replace the body mount tape (and that stuff from 3M is anything but cheap).
ok I think I gotcha. they come already with tabs with 3M tape on the tabs. you say don't bother peeling it and just use Velcro instead...
same with the side vent opening? it says easier if remove front wheel and then the shroud to get to side vent.
-and thanks for the input guys...
