1997 can not find paint?
Hi, Found one bottle in a car dealer but he said you don't want it the paint dried up. Looking for silver touch up. Any sources? Regular auto shops don't have the exact paint. Thanks for any help.

??? Just have a quality body shop color match the paint. They do it all with computers now that can match both color type and it's depth. If they can exactly match my Nassau Blue metallic which is a staged metallic they can match pretty much anything. Key word again is quality shop

There's a local auto paint and supplies shop in my city that will make up spray cans based on the WA number found on the bottom of the SPID label. The 16 ounce cans run about $25 and the color match is excellent. I believe the shop uses R-M paints.
One thing about the touch-up brush bottles is that they may show the correct paint code, but sometimes the name of the paint color will be different. Some GM models used the same paint color/code but different names. Silver was a common color in the GM vehicle line up.

Another option is "Dr Colorchip" You can find them on the interweb for a phone #. All orders are mixed up fresh and the results are terrific. Fast service and delivery. Good luck!

Thanks, just looking for touch up paint. Don't need a paint shop. I drive this car nearly everyday unless it's snowing. Still looks great but a few stone chips that's all.

What is the name of the shop? Duplicolar is out of my silver.

The Duplicolor touch up paint should work for you if you get the right code and it's about 10 bucks. Worked for me.

I paid 10 bucks with free shipping for my Duplicolor touchup paint. There are no body shops around here that would mix up paint for less than $50 to $100. Most are too busy to bother with it.
