Grinding gears

My 99 grinds gears when I shift into 4th over 3000RPM. I replaced gear oil (trans and diff) and motor mounts. Anything else I should try before a trans overhaul?

I may be missing something, but aren't you on the wrong forum to ask this question? This is C7. Having said that, had a 2002 C5 manual, and after 55k miles, never had a grinding gear problem.

Sounds like synchros. Actually, I have the same issue on my 99 camaro. Interested to see what others say.
