Vert question

Matching the top to the paint just doesn't sit right with me, but it would be unique which I like.
I use a mild solution of simple green, hot water, and when finished, rinse, rinse, and rinse again, just to make sure the simple green does not affect the wax on the car.
I have only cleaned the top twice in the three years I have owned the car, and it always comes out looking like a new top.

Bob.
The next time I clean it (don't know when) I will do before and after pictures.
The top looks a lot whiter than light oak, but that is because of the fluorescent light above it.

i keep mine in my garage with the top down and the top goes up at the parking garage at work. i dont lock it down just leave it in place so no dirt or dust gets in it.
the PO must have parked it out side on occasion (not to often) and folded the top away wet and it has several black mildew stains, that i can see below the window. i havent dried simple green, i have just used the meguiars and Griots cloth top cleaner and then used the sealer. on my previous tan top on a mustang it was a vinyl type top i was able to clean them out but i dont want to use harsh cleaners to do it on the cloth top. and i clean it really gently
i only drive it in the nice weather to work or for fun so i am not really worried about it too much just an observation. i bet my wifes oxi clean would work but i dont want to take a chance on staining it.
