Internally who knows.

Externally I see headers with EGR still, CAI and catch can.

Interesting. Just bought it, Inspection checked out and maintenance records.

Maybe post a video of it idling (fully warmed up), might be able to tell if someone dropped in a cam.
Also take a pic of the mufflers so someone can ID them for you.

ok I will do that tomorrow, today getting an oil change and tune up the guy there said that it sounds cammed. It's still there today so we will find out tomorrow. Another interesting thing with this car, and I'm not sure if it's all Z06 but the car will stall out below ten unless your are riding the clutch, as soon as you drop below 10mph it starts to stall. It just wants to go that car

The Z06 does come with a bit of chop stock. An unknowing ear might think an aftermarket cam, a friend thought that of mine when he first heard it.

you could pull a valve cover off and look at the valve springs.if they are dual springs it more than likely has a cam.

Then its cammed as well. I see the headers/intake on there, guy is running the car w/o the engine cover.....I just had my C5Z cammed w/ a "mid-level" type cam & where I used to be able to just let the clutch out progressively w/ NO throttle in 1st to get going on even slight inclines (& from a dead stop in 2nd on flat ground) - I now need to give it more gas & release the clutch a little later/higher.

There is no chance a stock C5Z w/ the stock gearing would want to stall w/ little gas in 1st from a stop.

Try putting it in first in a parking lot & get it rolling, let off the gas & see if the car will just continue idling & pulling or if starts bucking & sputtering, if bucking its cammed...but based on what you described I'd bet money it is.

Just got it back and it is confirmed cammed . Yeah if your in first if you aren't adding gas below 10mph the car bucks terribly and than stalls.

Solution; add gas.
The only bad part of this IMO is not knowing what it is.
Would still like to see a video.

Interesting that you try to find out what it has in it or if it's stock AFTER you buy it.

Sad for you good for the seller

I'd be happy with those mods if I were looking for a red coupe.

Well I can't deny you are right , I had looked at numerous c5z and this one was immaculate 15k for 60 thousand miles. If you can find one in that condition at that price let me know. All the records checked out and the car was serviced. Anyway I would have planned on doing mods at some point. I guess being 24 didn't help
