Whether they're "Cars and Coffee" or some other form of the weekly cruise in, I was hoping the gang might share some shots of the get-togethers in their areas. Might develop into a cool thread.
Last night was unseasonably warm on the Michigan - Canadian Border: basically 80 degrees all day. Very strange for early October. So it brought out some very nice rides. 2 C1's, 3, C2's. 4 C3's, a single C4, C5, and C6 each, and 2 C7's... Tons of other eye candy. All in all, a nice showing for a BigBoy on a Tuesday night. I should have taken more pictures.
Show us your local Cruise-Ins and let us know where you are.
The car cruises around my area are very lame from what I've been to. There was a monthly cars and coffee that was much better. Saw a Ferrari 458, McLaren 650S, F430 Scuderia, GT-R, and this Ferrari 308 GTB. Lots of various other cars, but those were the standouts.
That was the only actual pic I took, here are a few of the others edited from vids I took.
One car show actually had a pretty awesome car, this guy's twin turbo Camaro.
Wow! We definitely don't have the exotics up here... Where are you located BigBoss? Some saweeeet rides. In my original post, that stinger hood on the SS was impressive. In the subsequent posts, I have to wipe away the drool after staring at those ferraris.
Man, I need to hit the lottery. I just want too many cars.
So this summer a pseudo-local cruise in was held near London, Ontario. It's about 45 minutes across the border from Port Huron. INCREDIBLE SHOW.
It's held on a private estate (The Plunkett Estate) and it raises MILLIONS for charity, matched each year by the host. They had the cast of Dukes of Hazard there signing autographs and thousands of cars, spread out across their private golf course. It's been featured on Dennis Gage's My Classic Car show.
This one, I took a lot of pictures. Here are some of the highlights. Vettes first, of course.
