Default Brake lights

I have a 1999 the driver side brake lights are out both lights . how does it work if one bulb is out both dont light on that side or have i blown both brake lights also what is the part number for the brake light

ok i just verfied its not the bulb i switched out side tailouts from driver to passenger side passenger side works driver side doesnt so its not the bulb but what ae the odds of both sockets going bad on the driver side

Yellow wire is the turn signal/brake wire.

If no voltage the problem is in the multi function stalk (MFS) a somewhat common failure item in the C5.
what is the MFS and where is that located
