Potential new owner. Guitar player question.
Looking to buy a 2000 convertible
Can anyone provide me with interior dimensions of the inside of the trunk?
Hoping an acoustic in a case might fit

I can fit two full sized set of golf clubs with the top down.
Love the cargo capacity of my C5!
Actually one of the things that has kept me out of a C7.
Measured from the floor to the top of my driver was 48".

No other replies yet, so I'll chime in, even though mine's a coupe. I "assume" that the width and depth of the vert's trunk would be similar to my coupe minus the extra height provided by the coupe. I regularly carry two sets of golf clubs and weekend luggage. I haven't tried my acoustic guitar in there, but even in the case it's a fair bit smaller than either of our golf bags. Again though, I have a coupe, it's possible the vert's trunk is less accessible than it appears.

I once put two full sized congas, a cooler, lawn chair, blanket and misc stuff in mine and could still see out the back. I'd post a pic but I'm still using #$%&@ Photobucket.

This is why I'm still looking at the C5 for a first Vette. The interior is nicely sized as well from what I remember driving in my buddies C5 vert. And I am 6'3.

Martin dreadnaught case and separate accessories bag fits fine in a coupe. Fun to drive up to an acoustic or folk music gig in a Corvette. You can also fit a full size Marshall head back there; a 4x12 cab not so much...

These trunks are very large and have three removable cargo covers that make them even bigger with the wells exposed.

Girlfriend's bag before our road trip, testing space with top down, and she had that thing packed beyond capacity.
I think a guitar case may even fit with the top down, with no luggage. Lol

I routinely put two guitars in every Friday night. Not room for much else, but they will fit. My Les Paul will even fit under the top when it's down.
