Didn't know they did that. I assumed they're always white until you hit the blinker. I prefer amber, but that white at night would help alot.
That is due to the way the Corvette's and GM's DRL system during this era in general is designed. The DRL has the amber turn signal always on, and then flashes it during the blinker. Turn on the stalk and it switches off the DRL while providing power to the running/parking lights. The switchback design has the amber powered by turn signal and white by running/parking. You would have to get Radioflyer's harness or do some custom wiring to get white DRLs. I went the custom wiring route.

Info on wiring please. My drls are sad during the day and I'm about to order atleast 80w white hids.
Edit: nevermind on the wiring, I want to keep amber drls and have it white when the headlights are on. That's what it appears by the ops pics.

Drl meaning when you just start the car and don't turn the switch over on the turn signal stalk . Just the amber is on..once you turn the signal stalk it turns into switchbacks or pure white. Like if your turning on just your hids...then if you turn it again then you get headlights. Hope that answers
