CE was available in coupe, vert, and z06. Only z06 got the stripes and carbon hood, very and coupe had special shale interiors. No mechanical differences on the CE z06, The improved shocks were on all 04 z's. If you don't like the color, no other advantages to owning one. That said, I do, and bought one earlier this year as my second c5z.

IIRC production was around 2100 units for both the coupe and the Z, the 'vert was around 2500 or so...don't have my Black Book handy or I could tell you exactly.
IMO the '04 CE Z, along with the '03 AE 'vert, are the two sweetest C5's Chevy built. Love 'em both equally. I also think these two models, along with the '98 Pace Car, are probably the only C5's with a real shot at being collectible one day. But, that's just speculation, who knows for sure.
