o.k., so now im confused. i can see most of photobucket picts on several forums, but some i cant see anymore. e.g., in my thread i cant see any picts on the last page. i can see all of them on previous pages.
anybody in the know whats going on? is that an ongoing fight somehow, where photobucket is gaining ground?

The fix works by looking at image embeds and changing the referer. Not sure why some work and some don't unless the actual pics have been removed from PB. Might try clearing your cache and see if that helps.

Apparently so.....hmm. But they still did a pop up offering sharing for a price. We'll see how long this pic stays up.

While posting a link from PB and then still being able to view it is nice, I'd sure not want to make that a habit. No guarantee the "fix" will continue to work. CF allows you to load pics from your device to the website directly without needing any external sites. That's the suggested method I'd recommend.

So far this Google Fix / Patch seems to be working. I had a newer member message me about the Seat Recover How To thread I did back in 2015 and that he wasn't able to see the picture ( Yes they are Photobucket hosted ) I decide that I would reload the pictures via the Forums hosting website and when I went to my original thread I was still able to see the photobucket hosted pictures.
Needless to say I sent the member the link to this thread and told him to read and follow instructions.

And I did exactly what you suggested Lou. Worked perfectly and I viewed all of the photos from 2015. What a great forum... Thanks to all...
