Well, as much as I hate cutting up a beautiful shape.... With 18”wheels ya gotta make some serious room. Here is my old-school style flare pattern. This is set at about where it needs to be. Now I’ll mirror the other side to this & begin fiberglass work.
Is this a kit car, of some kind, or an actual Lola?
No kit here...
this is a real T70 Lola MklllB Coupe Body I found for sale that I’m stretching to fit a C5 chassis that was the prototype for the Falcon F7 supercar....
I like it but could I fit in it at over 6 feet????
I’m about 6’1” so I hope I’m gonna fit!!!!
This is another reason I’m stretching wheelbase
instead of shorting frame-rails. I may have to drop-floor the interior depending on the room once I have
the firewall in place. I should have the Engine & Transaxle in place this fall then I’ll start constructing rollcage & floor structure. Right now this Chassis has stock C5 Corvette floor, I can drop-floor it about 2” and
still have belly-pan Clearance.
My plan is to bend sheet metal & dash aluminum so it looks mighty-close to T70 interior. I’m doing the cockpit with 2024T3-.125 on the instrument panel, .090 on the rails & maybe carbon-fiber honeycomb on the floor. I have to see the final shape once I see floor’s final height.

From this picture you can see how narrow the original door opening is. I plan on modifying the upper areas to allow easier access in & out of the Car, & also increase side window length for a better view.

Any pics of the chassis before the body went on, by chance?
Why sure!!!!
Lets recap!!!
700hp 418” LS 1-Lola T70 body found on an old race-cars website. Inverted G50 with a few 930 parts & LSD thrown in. C5 chassis that I stripped of all the old stuff off of from its previous life as Falcon F7 mule duties..
I blew up many a G50 behind an LS. Ended up using a couple Ricardo's, then Mendeola came out with a great transmission for the money. G50's will milk ya dry.
Falcon F7 was a pretty nice concept. Anything that throws back to a 288GTO is a good thing....at least that's what I assumed they were aiming at.

Indeed, I figured so...
you by chance seen those Texas boys out in castroville building hybrid transaxles?
Griffin boys, may look at what they are building.
I have a couple of different Engine combo’s I want to try including a supercharged setup, this Engine compartment will plenty Big for about anything.
Tall-Deck 500” LS would be a great kick in the pants...
