Seen it for $25 at Walmart before. Not bad, could be spending $35 elsewhere.
Personally, I use Castol Syntec as it doesn't get whipped and thin like Mobil leading to lifter noise.
Personally. Do what you want.

that's cheap for 6qts, it's usually about the same price for 5qts at walmart... good time to stock up if that's the oil you use

Don't forget the Mobil 1 rebate. https://mobiloil.com/en/promotion/mo...ll-rebate-2017
I bought the five quart bottle from Walmart for $22.88, and just got my $12 rebate check.

It’s not a bad price for six quarts, and even better if Costco happens to be included in the rebate offer. They are not listed in that link above, but neither was Wal-Mart.

As I understand it, Mobil 1 changed their formula a few years back and are no longer "recommended" for use in LS engines (this, according to the hot rod shop owner who works on my car).
I used to use Mobil 1, now I use Amsoil. I see a difference on the drain plug (less shrapnel/shearing) during oil changes, FWIW.

Good deal.
It is true that Mobil 1 is not the same as when our cars came out. It used to be made of Class IV stock (which is 100% lab made synthetic). Several years back they switched to Class III stock (which is very refined dino oil).
Only a few oils use Class IV stock now, I believe Amsoil is, as well as Pennzoil Ultra Platinum.
I usually use the ultra platinum, it's the same price as Mobil 1 and they have a $10 rebate as well.
Honestly I don't think it matters at all - any full synthetic is excellent.

Mobil-1 is Dexos approved and the current bottles (either 1 quart or 5 quart) also shows the oil meets the old GM 4718-M standard. That standard began with the introduction of the Corvette LT1 engine starting in 1992.
The Corvette engine plant still fills all of the Corvette engines with Mobil-1. There should be no reason to not use the Mobil-1 oil you see on store shelves today.
So to answer the question posed by ZEEZERO6" So which one should i use ???, the answer would be Mobil-1 5W-30.
