watch your car being built?
Hi, my 03 Z06 (black on black) is being built tomorrow at the plant in KY. The sales manager at my dealership is a big Z06 fan and he tells me that you can watch your car being built somehow online.
Is this true?
I searched google and other sources including this forum and couldnt find anything about this.

No, your dealer is misinformed. You can watch your Vette being delivered at the Museum, if you get Museum Delivery, but you can't watch it being built unless you go to the plant.

ah...ok, thanks for the quick reply, been banging my head against the wall here trying to find this secret site...lol
what is museum delivery? is this an added cost option? maybe i'll fly down to KY and pick 'er up next week if thats possible.

It has to be pre-arranged with the plant but you can watch some parts of the process. You get about 1-2 days notice, fly down, watch that part & if you're lucky you get to be the first to start it. Then you have to go home and wait (in agony) for delivery. :lol: Judging by the date of you post your car should be coming off the line either tomorrow or Monday. Sorry this wasn't timely enough for you to take action. :(
