Thanks! I've been telling everybody to buy a Corvette, they're such good values for how much performance you get.
Thanks! My friend took that picture, I love it too. Sedona is such an amazing place to take pictures.
I highly doubt that. It might just be the way the pics made the tips look... they're the standard oval C5 tips. The exhaust itself didn't look special either, nor did it sound all that great. It was very very quiet, like I could hear the transmission more than I could hear the exhaust haha
those are NOT your "standard C5 oval tips"....maybe I need my glasses cleaned but those tips definitely look round to me...
I like the later Mustangs, but their interiors were awful until the big redesign in 2015. Up until then, they just felt super cheap. Driving my 96 Mustang GT was never a relaxing experience— tons of road noise, uncomfortable seats, super rattly interior, numb steering, etc. Mustangs are great drag cars but daily driving a 90's one is just punishing. My Vette is only 2 years newer than the Mustang but it feels like a luxury car in comparison.
Thanks!
As with any old car, there are a few little things I need to fix. The first will be the seats sliding forward and back upon hard braking. Apparently that's a super common issue and I'm about to order a seat shim repair kit that'll fix the problem: https://www.corvetteguys.com/product...nt=19764724614
Also, the DIC buttons don't work. It's a common issue as well, so I might buy a known working DIC button module on eBay and see if that fixes the issue.
Lastly, the car didn't come with a key fob, so what would be the best option for getting one?
The DIC buttons may be an easy fix. Try replacing the bulbs first. If you decide to replace them upgrade to the LED bulbs. They are way brighter and you can change the color. They come in bright white, red, blue, green. Just a suggestion.

My issue isn't the lights not working— the buttons light up just fine. Nothing happens when I press on them, that's the problem. It's either a bad connection at the back of the DIC panel switch or the IPS has an issue. Haven't checked yet.

Because it took 5 minutes and didn't require a lift or jacking up the rear end sky-high. It's the stock C5 exhaust and I also wanted the pipes to be closer to the end of the car instead of dumping onto the rear axles if I just unbolted them.

If those are the standard non-Z mufflers, there is no harm in cutting them up as they're a dime a dozen and are easily welded back together.
Exactly, I didn't want the exhaust to dump onto the rear axle near the fuel tanks, I still wanted some piping out back.
They're the non-Z standard mufflers. The angles I took the pictures at make the tips look way rounder than they are. They're the standard oval tips and the mufflers were pretty darn quiet before I removed them.

Solve the problem for us by taking a pic of your "oval tips"... in the pic you posted they are round tips no matter what angle you take them at...I showed you a pic of oval stock tips...compare them for us to see first hand...just saying
